T-Minus 6 until Turkey Day

Who’s excited for Thanksgiving? Today marks the last day of class and the beginning of my break.  Tonight, Liz and I are heading to the city to watch the second part of Twilight with her aunt and friends.  Don’t judge.  Liz and I saw the first part together when we were in Barcelona, so it is only right that we view the second half together.

I’ll share more about this little adventure later, mostly because I have no clue what to expect.  What I do know is that it is an exclusive “21+” theatre with a restaurant/bar, and more.  We are going out to eat at a fun Indian restaurant before hand, but still quite the experience.  I’m looking forward to it!

Oh, did you know that Starbucks is doing a little deal?

Liz and I will certainly be celebrating  our Friday with a peppermint mocha 🙂 Just a little splurge before we get back to work. I thought I could get away without doing work during Thanksgiving, but it looks like I might have some final papers and projects to work on. Oh well, that’s life!

Also, my family has decided to have a not-so-traditional Thanksgiving meal.  Sure we are having turkey and all the fixings, but my sister and I got the go-ahead to experiment, so I’ll be sure to share some of our recipes and ideas.

What do you have planned for the Thanksgiving holiday?

  1. Ah I want a peppermint mocha!! Tell me how the movie is because I am seeing it later this weekend. I’ve never heard of a 21+ movie theater? That’s awesome! Have fun ❤

  2. I saw twilight last night and it was surprisingly really good! I’ve gone to all of them for the midnight showings and this was definitely one of the better ones. Have fun!

  3. I haven’t seen or read any of the Twilight movies/books, but that sounds like a fun theater! Is it in SF?

And this year the BF and I have to drive from Sacramento to Marin County (for my family’s early celebration) and THEN to Palo Alto (for his family’s later celebration), so I don’t think I’ll be able to contribute much to either meal if it can’t last in the car! Maybe something for my family since they’re first up. 🙂

What's on your mind?
