Goodness, how do you come up with titles? I don’t think I could become a full fledge author because I despise coming up with titles (most of time) and have a very difficult time proof-reading. My mom always tells me to read my work aloud, which I do (most of the time).
Well, let’s get cracking on this new day. Muchas gracias to Jenn for hosting the fun weekly link-up.
Yesterday, I was feeling a little overwhelmed by work, so I postponed working in the office until today. I ended up studying in my house, attending my capstone (cumulative business course), and attending one of my first workout classes.
BREAKFAST OPTION 1: Mix of cereal (cheerios, mini wheats, wheat flakes), 1/2 banana, raspberries, blueberries, and pomegranate Kefir, along with a cup of coffee/tea (Blueberry Green Tea is my new favorite)
BREAKFAST OPTION 2: Coffee, pumpkin oatmeal with pumpkin, oats, Greek yogurt, blueberries, 1/2 banana, and agave syrup
It’s nice to start the day off like this, right? I was working on my homework in the apartment and felt a bit peckish throughout the morning. So, I would occasionally nibble on some leftover pumpkin bread. Hit the spot 🙂
SNACK: I only had one of these bars today (along with some strawberries) but here’s a look at my new favorite flavors. Chocolate coconut is always a classic, but I had to sample the peanut butter cookie.
It was pretty decent, but somehow all the energy bars start to taste the same to me. At least all Luna bars begin to taste like Luna bars and all Cliff bars start to taste like Cliff bars. Interesting. Do you ever get this?
After a few hours in the library, I went home to change and go to the gym. I’m still giving my legs a rest, but decided to test out this “Core and More” class. It was alright, but I definitely missed my cardio. I also am not a fan of working out in front of a mirror, so that was a distraction. Even when I am lifting weights, I tend to turn 180 so I am watching the television instead of myself. Poor form, I know, but it does the trick.
DINNER OPTION 1: Since I had an evergy bar earlier, I didn’t get around to making dinner until 8:30. Then, since it was late, I was lazy and didn’t get around to making anything special. So here we are, microwaved vegetables, an Amy’s Mac&Cheese (decent for microwaved meals), and a heaping portion of ketchup/Tapatio.
DINNER OPTION 2: This was from Monday night (also a late night) and consisted of microwaved veggies, and a sweet potato explosion. It was devine. 🙂 DESSERT: One (or two) cookies from this weekend’s baking project. This one featured is the Cookie Butter White Chocolate Chip.
