It’s that time! Sadly no recipes, but some truly delicious eats. I seemingly forgot to take a picture of my breakfast #fail but it went a little like this. After going to the gym for some elliptical time and light weights, I ate the remainder of my Chobani Berry overnight oats. I topped it with a small plum and added some extra PB2 powder for fun.
After that, I biked over to the library (it is walking distance but I tend to bike everywhere because it is faster) around 10. Probably within 15 minutes of sitting down, it started to pour outside. Well, good day to be in the library. I was in there a solid 8 hours, so lots of time for snacking.
And after seeing everyone with Chobani Bites, I made the decision to buy some for myself! Goooood choice Kaitlin 🙂 This one was for lunch and had the perfect combination of raspberry with chocolate. I think chocolate in Greek yogurt is a perfect exception for my lenten no sweet promise. The only thing I don’t like about taking yogurts on the go is that they get a little too soupy. I’m much more of a semi-solid yogurt gal. Maybe I’ll try popping one in the freezer for “dessert.” Nice find Chobani, nice find.
Lunch didn’t really hit the spot or maybe I was just bored. Either way, I made my way downstairs for a Luna bar and decided to try a new flavor.
By the time I returned home, it was time for dinner 🙂 Got to love that schedule because I was then able to avoid munching around my apartment for the better half of the afternoon. I just did it in the library instead.
Nice seltzer water by Safeway and some butternut squash soup by Trader Joe’s, brussels sprouts, onion, eggplant and chicken
After dinner, I attended my sorority’s chapter and then went out with some friends for a happy hour downtown. My drink sure didn’t look like this but boy I wish it had 🙂
