Maroon 5: Out of this World Study Break

I actually happen to be writing this at 2:30 am (gasp) and I guess it would be Thursday.  I’m a little off on my days, but that’s alright.  It’s the college and life experience.

Yes, this would be me studying in the wee hours.  Somehow I am still wide awake, so no complaints.

As my dad always reminds me, CARPE DIEM! Anywho, I’m going to keep it short and sweet as I should really hit the sack.  Way back in October, my friend Catherine Rose asked if I wanted to attend a Maroon 5 concert.

Now, it may seem that I am always attending concerts, but this is VERY rare.  It just seems to be the right time and place this year to do so.  The concert was last night at HP Pavilion and while it was is dead week, I have most of my work accomplished for the next couple days and really, who is productive after 6pm? IMG_1765 IMG_1766 IMG_1770 IMG_1773 IMG_1782 IMG_1792 IMG_1797 IMG_1803 IMG_1805

Quick recap: Owl City, Neon Trees, Maroon 5’s epic performance and a night filled with studying 🙂 Also, stay tuned because a very tasty quinoa granola recipe is coming your way! I even received rave reviews from my capstone group 🙂

  1. I WANT TO GO SEE MAROON 5!!! And I feel you on the late nights. I had a 7 page paper due that I started at 10… finished at 1:30. Bad decision. Hope you can sleep tonight 🙂

  2. Attending concerts was one of my favourite things to do at your age, and it’s one of the things I miss most. Not that we can’t go now, but it’s harder to get to as many when you have kids. Plus, I complain more about crowds and noise. 😉 Jo

  3. My boyfriend and my first “date” was to the CA State Fair where we saw Neon Trees perform 🙂 They were really fun to watch live!

Very cool that you got to have a fun study break like that! Doesn’t hurt to live close to HP Pavilion!
