Aloha and welcome to California Endless Summer.  I’m Kaitlin, a twenty-something grad from SCU and recent transplant into the concrete jungle of New York.  Born and raised in Southern California (+ short stint in London & Barcelona) and I’m ready to make my mark on the east coast and of course not freeze my butt off.

Though I graduated with a degree in marketing, I’ve dabbled with social media and more recently digital ad sales.  Growing up, I played oodles of soccer and matured from the “daisy picker” to an avid mid-fielder.  One thing led to another and I found myself ditching soccer to run cross country.  Hobbies include traveling, running, baking, eating (hand in hand), quoting movies (cue Pink Panther and Frozen), and meeting new people.  While I’ve lived in a couple different locations, I will always call California my home.

As you can see I was a beach bum from an early age.  I was even sophisticated enough to starting reading Martha Stewart Living back then. 😉

Running is my passion and my outlet.  Of course I’m all about exploring, signing up for last-minute races, and getting as much free swag as possible.  This is now enhanced by the fact that I’m obsessed with November Project – a free fitness group filled with people who love to workout, race everything, and wake up the sun.  Don’t worry, we play hard too.  So join in on this fabulous adventure as I continue to explore some of California’s greatest as well as learn the ropes of my new home, Manhattan.
